My product that I've been working on for AICE Media Studies AS is a magazine that includes a cover page, table of contents page, and a two page spread based on the topic we chose beforehand. My magazine focuses on those who want to find an easy to follow and effective way to protect their health without taking tons of supplements or going through with a big procedure. It would be accessible through a bi-yearly/yearly subscription, because this isn't the main focus of the magazine, the Mediterranean diet is just a special edition of my healthy eating magazine. Not to be rude or offensive, but my magazine would actually be helpful compared to other publications like "TIME" or "RollingLoud", since people actually do have heart problems and high cholesterol levels. I would release it as an actual product to customers in store fronts and other places where magazines are found but if it can't reach everyone, I would establish a health podcast and also feature a social media promoting the podcast and current health trends. This project has most definitely helped to produce various skills such as, thinking on my feet, how to interview, time management, social relations, photography, layouts of different topics, and analyzing case studies. A few software applications and technologies that I have integrated into this project are StudioWorks, laptop info, Photopea, Blogger, blogging, cover creation, Camera work, and cellphones.

The importance of composition, cropping, and storage in photography
Photo elements such as composition, cropping, and storage play a big role in ensuring that your photo will be up to its highest standard. Cropping is the act of removing certain elements from your photo that may distract from the main focus. Composition is then how the photos are arranged. Storage is the amount of memory your camera has hold to hold more pictures. Having these techniques and topics in mind have helped to change my view on how I take photos now and how I view photographs.

CCR Prep
The creative critical reflection (CCR) is a conclusion of what was learned and discussed over the time frame of this 2022-23 school year of my AICE Media Studies class. I am planning to have a 1on1 podcast conversation with myself. Although podcasts are usually done with at least two people, I feel as though I can really convey all my messages and thoughts when it's just me talking. The CCR will also show the viewer(s) its representation within different social groups, audience engagement/distribution, development of my production skills, and also my integration of technologies throughout the project.

HEADLINES
Headlines set the tone for any piece of copy under that topic. Headlines are the "hook" of your copy, so have a headline that will bring in and grab your reader's attention. Again with the captions, use the trigger words what, how, why, and when since you are trying to persuade someone (the reader) to pick up your product.

Captions: How and Why?
Captions are the little (maybe even large) pieces of text/copy that provide the reader with context for a picture while also answering the questions: 'who, what, when, and where'. A good caption can enhance or destroy a good image There are two types of captions, basic and extended. It just depends on which one you pick to complete the picture.

Interview Preparation
To prepare for an interview you can go either two paths, the interviewer or the interviewee. With my class, we went on both paths. The whole class was split into groups and then we had to prepare 5 questions to ask each other while recording it. It was decided to ask open-ended questions so that we could have a substantial recorded interview. I first wrote down some questions that I thought could evoke a good conversation then I recorded my interview and then went on to my partner's interview. I was given the choice to see the questions but I wanted it to be as genuine as possible.

Choosing a Theme
Before picking a theme for our magazine, we were prompted to pick if we wanted to work individually or by ourselves, (I chose to go solo). After that, we had to make a list of 10 potential ideas for the magazine we wanted to produce. Some of the ideas I produced were "Old vs. New Cars", "MensHealth&Fitness", and "Healthy Habits for Healthy Hearts". This part of the magazine was helpful to me in making my final theme decision. After hearing that I'll have to take all of my own pictures, I realized that it would be difficult to capture pictures for either "Old vs. New Cars" or "MensHealth&Fitness" given the models I would need to provide. I just then decided to go with the "Healthy Habits for Healthy Hearts" theme (it's a bit changed up now but relatively the same) since I'll just have to cook and take my own pictures.
