- A publication can be defined as a platform in which information, ideas, or opinions are widely spread out to be viewed by all
- Many functions are held by publications such as education, information, entertainment, persuading, or inspiration
- There are many formats:
- Books (Yellow pages, Yearbook, Magazine)
- Newspapers
- Journals
- Websites
- Blogs
